Vote of Thanks to Outgoing Director, 2007/10/31
WHEREAS Aroldo Souza-Leite has served as the Zope Foundation Board member for the Associate class since the inception of the Zope Foundation in June 2006;
and WHEREAS Aroldo served the Foundation well as its first Chair, steering the board through the difficult issues involved in setting up the initial working model of its Board;
and WHEREAS Aroldo was instrumental in coordinating the successful sponsorship for Google Summer of Code students through the Foundation;
and WHEREAS Aroldo is stepping down from the Board on this date:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Members of the Zope Foundation thank Aroldo Souze-Leite warmly for his service to the Foundation and the wider Zope Community, and wish him well in his future endeavors.
Proposed by the Zope Foundation Board; adopted by acclamation by the Zope Foundation at its annual Meeting, 31 October 2007.
